A Day in the Life of a One Year-Old!!!

October Marie turned ONE on November 16th, 2009. Well, Mommy & Daddy couldn't really wait that long, so they decided to have Toby's b-day party on the 15th (also keeping in mind that the 16th was a Monday and everyone in the world has jobs and busy lives and all that...)

Here are the photos we had done at Olan Mills for Toby's first birthday:

Anyways, in case you missed it, here's Toby's FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY in pictures:

So, there you have it. I don't think it's necessary to caption every picture (you can pretty much get the whole idea of what's going on, I think). The basic gist of the matter is this: October turned ONE, we had a brunch for a few close family members, there were some great presents, October jumped up on a box and did a can-can for us, and then she ate (or wore, maybe?) a HUGE piece of Wiggles birthday cake.
Good times... Good times...

Trick-or-Treating, Peanut Style

Well, here we are again... How about some pics to warm you up on those cool fall nights before we get to the good stuff?
Boo-boo on her horsey :)

Toby hit the pumpkin patch at the Big Apple to pick out her favorite one... Trouble is, she couldn't pick one...

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for... October's first Halloween!!!

Thanks to Alycia @ Olan Mills for this last one!
There you have it. October, Mrs. Peanut.
Stay tuned for the best 1st birthday party ever!!!

Christenings, Doctors & Boat Shows, Oh My!!

Ok, this one might be a little overwhelming for you if you take it all in at once. Our suggestion, do a little at a time. Read a bit, look over some pics, take a break. Rinse and repeat...

There are several awesome things that have happened in the month of September. Planned things, random things, bizarre things, well, you be the judge.

Anyway, the first thing, was of course, the Christening. The date was Sunday, September 13th, and it turned out to be a beautiful day! We decided as well while we were there, to take pictures of October with everyone who attended. We did this for two reasons: the first was so that she could see everyone who was at her Christening, and the second was so we could send everyone their own individual picture of themselves with October, as part of their thank you notes! So anyways, that's why there are so many individual pictures here with Toby!

The beautiful ice-cream cake!

So yeah, that's that. The second part does not contain pictures, just some important info (if you're into this kind of thing). On Thursday, the 17th, Toby went for her "9 month" check up with Dr. Germain (technically, she'd just turned 10 months, but hey, who's counting, right?). As of the 17th, October Marie is 21 lbs, 8 oz and is 30" tall!! She now has SIX (count 'em, SIX) teeth, and the doctor seemed very surprised that she is already walking around! Apparently she is not only one healthly little bug, but also very advanced as well.
Part 3 took place on September 20th. It's nothing huge, just a random trip to the Big Apple in Wrentham. Took a few pics. Here you go:

Now it's time for part FOUR!! This is the part where it got fun for Mommy and Daddy. September 26th (Saturday), we found out that at the Norwalk Boat Show (Norwalk, CT), Captains Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand were going to be doing autographs and taking pictures with people. Well, Deadliest Ctach being Mommy's favorite show, we of course had to make the two-and-a-half hour drive down to Nowalk to check it out. When we got there, we had to wait in a two hour line to get anywhere near them, but it was sooo worth it! :)

Couldn't stand the wait anymore :)

Ok, this is the final part for the month of September, and this is where it gets EXTRA fun... Since we were already only 47 miles out of NYC, we decided to keep on driving until we reached Time Square, so that October could check out the real Big Apple!

So there you have it... The BUSY month of September, in a five part story for you to enjoy! More to come, so keep checking back often!! <3
